The New Age School

FAQs

Yes. Subject Rooms or Labs is not a common practice. It is practiced in a handful schools. But your ward is basically studying in a CBSE School. Therefore, technically there cant be any difficulty in getting admission to any CBSE School elsewhere, in the event of transfer of admission. The second part of it is the methodology of learning. In our School, learning will be experimental and experiential. Subject Rooms or Labs basically facilitate the learning by doing. Thus, your ward will be used to a learning style which won’t make him a rote learner. He would learn in questions in mind. He will learn by actually & doing whatever comes to him as a matter of learning. This will obviously give him an edge over his co-learners. He will strive to go deeper to the conceptual level, no matter how it is taught in the class. Ultimately, when it will come to the level of evaluation, he will perform far better than the rote learners. This will not only be advantageous to him in the new School, but for his entire life! Because, this will shape him into a & lifelong learner.

It has become a worsening belief that the child has to be busy with his formal studies the whole time. Many parents are relieved when they see that their ward hardly finds any time to wander. In fact, learning is a continuous process irrespective of whether the child has a book in his hand or not. All it requires is an unconditioned and enquiring mind. We believe the learning ‘happens’, you cannot ‘make someone learn’! This can happen better if we create appropriate learning opportunities. We shall take care of his learning in the campus only by creating them. Ultimately, child has to have some free time, he should spend time with his siblings, parents, grand-parents and people around him. That will help him acquire social skills and emotional intelligence. Coming to be updated of his or her progress, we have elaborate mechanism of evaluation and we would share it with parents periodically. In fact, we are going to involve you actively in his development process.

This is an obvious but an unfortunate question. Most of the schools in the vicinity are developed as a part of business. Thus, everything goes as per business practices. ‘Discount’, ‘Concession’ emerge out of that. Our School is 50th campus of an educational trust established in the pre-independence era. We cannot do charity; however, we would not indulge in the rat race.We shall thoughtfully decide what is the worth of what we are offering to society and accordingly charge for it. Thus, we do not offer any sort discounts or incentives.

As mentioned above, this is the 50th campus of KES. Thus, though this is a new school, we are not new to education. We already run some CBSE schools and an IBschool, too. We have our trustees who have been in the field of education for decades. We took sufficient time to analyse the need of a school here. We have a dream English Medium School in our mind. So, though there are challenges we are determined to win!

Dedicated and capable teachers and good leadership are must for any educational institutes. We have not compromised on this issue. We have cited brief introduction of some of our key persons. We have taken special efforts to bring them together.
